We love Irma's daycare! Looked a several daycares until we decided on this one. As soon as I received the tour I knew this would be a great place for my son. The teachers are bilingual and so loving. Thank you Irma's daycare for taking such good care of our little one!

I cannot say enough good things about Irma's Daycare! They came recommended to me by my hairdresser, and upon interviewing them, I knew they were the right daycare to take my then 3 month old son to. Previously working in home daycare licensure, I knew what to look for- good and bad. I was so impressed to see all of the good, none of the bad! As my son got older, I saw him flourish- both socially and academically! He is now 4 and so advanced, thanks to the curriculum at Irma's. Even their toys are educational, and they really put the time and effort into making their daycare the best it could be. My daughter also went in at 4 months old, and she has flourished just like her brother. On top of all this, they are so loving with the children and treat them like family. Anyone that takes their children to Irma's Daycare is very lucky to have them in their lives!

I started taking my daughter to Irma's when she was 2 years old. I was in desperate need to find a new place for my daughter because the child care she was previously attending was horrible!! Since she was 2 years old, I wanted her to be in more of a loving home setting that provided structure and early learning as well. I thought a center would be too crowded and too overwhelming for my 2 year old, since I stayed home with her prior . The one that turned out horrible was a home setting so I was completely turned off by "home settings" and was now on the lookout for a center. A co-worker overheard my complaints and referred me to Irma's Childcare-Preschool but I was hesitant because, like the other, it was home based. But she told me I would love it.... And I did!
It was perfect for my daughter! It was clean and air conditioned (trust me that is important). As soon as I walked in I felt like I was entering a classroom at Tutor Time (where my son went in Anaheim Hills 5 years ago), which was a great thing! It has a dress up section for boys and girls, a kitchen with other fun toys, fish tank, little library section, tons of arts and crafts, puzzles, and more.... I LOVE the fact that they are very structured and it is not a free for all, yet they do not force either. For example, during nap-time the children go to a different room (all together) where the lights are dim and low music plays. My daughter fought naps ALWAYS, so they never forced her to go. Instead, they let her stay in the main room and lay down while she looked at books and eventually fell asleep. They prepared home cooked meals/snacks, and the children ate together (which encouraged my daughter to eat different foods she normally would not eat).
The backyard was a good size and a wonderland for my daughter! Bikes, balls, playhouse, climbing structure, and more! It has good shade and they have fruit trees which the children like to pick and eat :)
And they taught her spanish!!! I am truly thankful and grateful for Irma and her family for giving us this wonderful experience that we will truly miss. She is in Fremont and we moved to Union City and I am looking for something close to us. I have the same uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach as I research for new places. My daughter is 3 now and I can only hope we find something as great and loving as Irma's close by.
